Synopsis 1:
Paladin takes a shine to the leader of a bank heist, an
irascible old codger with a broken leg being pursued by his
erstwhile partners in crime.
Synopsis 2:
Paladin comes to the aid of an old Pappy French (Hank Patterson) who
is stranded with a broken leg. The now horseless man offers Paladin
$ 500. for his horse, Paladin turns him down and Pappy than tells him
he has $ 50,000 hidden from a bank robbery and if Paladin helps him get
it he will share the loot. The remainder of Pappy's gang appear and in
the battle that follows all are killed but Paladin. [TD]

Synopsis 2:
A rancher (Charles Bronson) follows his new neighbor a Spanish
noblewoman to San Francisco and while there sees how Paladin is a ladies
-man and hires him to teach him to the proper way to talk and act to win
the lady's hand. When goes back with him to his ranch he finds the
rancher has other problems, another rancher has stolen 300 head of cattle
from the lady and changed their brand to Chris' (Bronson) to frame him
in an attempt to buy the lady's ranch. Paladin clears Chris and then
"asks the lady to marry him" forcing Chris to fight him and gives Chris
the courage to ask the lady to marry him and she accepts. [TD]
