by Jesse and his buddies. [MS]
Note: Some sources claim that Robert DoQui joined the series as Cliff Sims. However, both DoQui and his character
disappeared after this episode.
The remarkably similar character of Det. Ray Hendrix, played by Hal Frederick, appears in a pair of later episodes.
The Hendrix character has a son, Josh, played by the same young actor who played Sims's son.

Stone and Briggs arrest African diplomat Nburu for attempted murder after he attacks fund-raising expert Charlie Finnerman.
The more they investigate, they discover that the "expert" is a possible fraud. Criminal lawyer Clinton Judd arrives to
defend the diplomat on the charges, but matters turn worse when Nburu is found standing over the body of Finnerman, and
Stone and Briggs wrestle Nburu down a flight of stairs, injuring him. [MS]

result of illness and not from the fall, Judd wonders if he's destroying the career of an honest cop. [MS]
