Premise:
John Lackland seems to have it all--money, security, well-off social
status--yet he is unable to enjoy his hectic jetset life. Feeling
hemmed in by San Francisco city life and the stress of his advertising
job, John throws it all away to move to the tiny South Pacific island of
Amura, where he lives the life of a beachcomber, and becomes involved in
the lives and problems of others.
