Synopsis:
Earl Parker is an honest but domineering land and sheep owner and has
just concluded the sale of sheep to buyer Hudson. He will not sign the
paper for the deal, saying his word is his bond. He says reading and
writing are not essential - all you have to know is how to count, and
he has brought up his 18 year old son, Malcolm, the same way. When
Hudson leaves, the father and son go off shooting eagles, but Earl Parker
falls from his horse and is in obvious pain. The flying doctor is told,
but before he can go to Parker he is told there is no need for his
services. The two set off again to shoot eagles but Earl is forced to
