UK Military Drama series 1964-66 26 episodes x 60 min bw  videotape
Starring
John Thaw as Sergeant John Mann

Premise:
Long before JOHN THAW played Jack Regan in "The Sweeney" or Inspector Morse,
he appeared in this quite dramatic series. The story centered around the
cases investigated by Seargent John Mann of the Special Investigation Bureau
of the British Military Police. Seargent Mann could be very aggresive with
the soldiers, but also showed a much more gentle side with the families of
soldiers who had lost loved ones. It was a peek over the fence into Army
life, long before "Soldier Soldier" had even been thought of.

Directed by:
Jonathan Alwyn, Bill Bain, Laurence Bourne, Quentin Lawrence, Raymond Menmuir
Peter Graham Scott, Guy Verney
