Synopsis:
Helen Jackson (Foster), a pretty (but greedy) junior partner from a
Philadelphia law firm, entices
Flip away from the Overland Stage Line with the promise of splitting a
million dollar
share in a gold mine "left" to them by her (believed to be) recently
deceased father Hard Rock Sam. The only catch is that they must press their
claim against
the stubborn Big Jed Braddock (MacLane), Sam's ex-partner, in a town
which sides with the miner and wants nothing to do with helping the pair
collect their half of the property. But Flip refuses to
"lie, cheat, steal," or be seduced into an unscrupulous way of winning a
court battle for possession of the "inheritance." (bj)
