Synopsis 1:
The outlaw Frank Lassiter, who Gene is searching for comes
to town and Pat mistakenly thinks he is Unted States Senator
Henry Murphy who Pat was to greet the next day. Lassiter
uses this as a chance to pose as the Senator and asks the
townspeople for $45,000. to put up as their share towards a
water dam project that he would have built for them with
goverment funds . Later that day Gene meets the real Senator
Murphy and when he confronts Lassiter he escapes with Pat's
girlfriend Verna as a hostage. Gene of course rescues Verna
and arrests Lassiter and gets the money back and also manages
to have the Sheriff and his wife adopt Sombrero. [TD]
