Synopsis:
Canyon is given command of a mission which calls for a fueling ship to
tow three jets which are to be cut loose when an enemy missile is
sighted. But on the test flight one of the planes develops engine trouble,
endangering all four planes on the mission.

Synopsis 2:
An unusual accident kills the pilot and co-pilot of a B-47 Bomber while
the plane is in flight. The plane, on automatic pilot, is heading for
Russian territory, and Lt. Col. Steve Canyon tries to head it off. He is unable
to determine whether the third crew member, the navigator, is also dead.
