Synopsis:
Two patients, a man and a woman, face brain surgery. Though they are
strangers when they enter the hospital, their lives become strangley
intertwined.
For Bartholomew Gray, who possesses a deep love for beauty despite,
his own grotesquely disfigured face, the surgical prognosis is
reassuring. But for attractive Julie Carr, the outlook isn't as bright.
Surgery may mean blindness and certainly years of post-operative care.
Julie has hitherto found strength for the ordeal in her love of fiancé,
Carter Blake. Carter, however, hasn't the same strength. [TA]
