Bobby wants to leave Ewing Oil because of J.R.'s mysteries and tricks in running
the company. Jock suffers a heart
attack during an argument with J.R. over the management of Ewing Oil. The family
unites around Jock's hospital bed,
except for Bobby, who in psychological denial over his daddy's tragedy, takes
refuge in working the ranch with Ray.
Pamela doesn't like it and makes it very clear to Bobby that he should be at his
father's bedside. The surgery ends
successfully for Jock.
2.5 (10) Dallas: Black Market Baby

Jock recovers after his heart operation. J.R. and Sue Ellen are still waiting in
vain to have a baby. Sue Ellen finally
decides to get a baby through the black market in order to have a Ewing
grandchild before Bobby and Pam. J.R. stops
Sue Ellen's plans. Pam's doctor tells her that she can never have a baby.
2.6 (11) Dallas: Double Wedding

A young man called Ed Haince appears in J.R.'s office and claims to be married
to Pamela. He got rid of all documents
showing their marriage had been annulled. Later the matter turns out to be one
of J.R.'s many intrigues. But because
of it, Bobby learns about Pam's previous marriage.
2.7 (12) Dallas: Runaway

Lucy accepts a ride from a psychotic robber after she runs away from Southfork
because Jock forbade her to invite
Val to Lucy's birthday party. Lucy gets kidnapped and is forced into crime.
Heroic Bobby saves her life while risking
his own and the standoff ends successfully for the Ewings.
2.8 (13) Dallas: Election

Pam backs Cliff's bid for state senator against the Ewings' candidate but then
accidentally gives J.R. information
damaging to Cliff. He loses the election.
2.9 (14) Dallas: Survival

Pam spends more and more time on her new job. This leads to some disagreements
between her and Bob. J.R. and Bobby's
airplane crashes into a swamp during a severe storm. The Ewing women try to keep
the news from recuperating Jock but
he finds out anyway. Sue Ellen secretely meets with Cliff Barnes to ask him for
help with getting a baby. The rescue
search for Bobby and J.R. is successful and a sigh of relief can be heard at
Southfork again.
2.10 (15) Dallas: Act of love

Sue Ellen spends more and more time with Cliff. She learns she got pregnant
during an affair with him. Pam gets news
of promotion and travel on business to Paris. Once more there are disagreements
with Bobby. Pam's promotion clearly
interferes with Bobby's plans.
2.11 (16) Dallas: Triangle

Ray Krebbs falls in love with a country singer named Garnet McGee. He wants to
marry her.
Lucy is jealous and tries to prevent it. J.R. solves the problem. Ray almost
kills him.
2.12 (17) Dallas: Fallen Idol

It's a reunion for Bobby and Taylor Bennett, an old friend from college and
Bob's former idol. Taylor runs a new
construction business and suggests to build up a shopping center on Southfork
land. Because of Miss Ellie's doubts
about the project, Bobby gives up the idea. J.R. was also opposed to the plan.
Taylor leaves Dallas.
2.13 (18) Dallas: Kidnapped

Three kidnappers intend to abduct J.R. in order to get $1.5 million in ransom
from the Ewing family. They capture
Bobby by mistake and proceed with their plan, deciding to make Cliff Barnes the
go-between. This creates additional
tension in the Ewing family as they try to decide how to proceed with the
negotiation. With the help of Ray and some
employee of Southfork, he delivers Bobby.
2.14 (19) Dallas: Home again

A man appears at Southfork. He turns out to be Miss Ellie's brother whom she
believed dead. Miss Ellie
is determined to yield the ranch to him. The Ewing family feels threatened.
2.15 (20) Dallas: For love or money

Sue Ellen discovers J.R. has an extra-marital affair. She walks out on him and
stays with her mother and sister who
have recently moved to Dallas. She also seeks comfort from Cliff. He wants to
marry her. But J.R. of course, has
another idea.
2.16 (21) Dallas: Julie's return

Julie Grey, J.R.'s former secretary, returns to Dallas. She meets with Jock
regularly. Miss Ellie
is very concerned. So are J.R. and Bobby, and they press Jock for an
explanation.
2.17 (22) Dallas: The red file, Part 1

Cliff gets a public office. He tries to take advantage of his position to get
back at the Ewings. Julie wants to
help him, for her own reasons. A little later she falls down a tower block and
dies. Cliff gets arrested.
2.18 (23) Dallas: The red file, Part 2

Cliff's trial begins. His odds look poor. But Bobby finds out the truth. At the
same time he discovers that J.R.
has been tampering with Jock's last will. Arguments between Pam and Bobby get
worse. She moves into a hotel.
2.19 (24) Dallas: Sue Ellen's sister

Cliff borrows 10.000 dollars from Pamela by feeding her false information. He
wants to use the money against Ewing Oil.
Sue Ellen's sister Kristin appears. J.R. tries to get her attention but Kristin
is only interested in Bobby.

Ray and Bobby get into a fight. J.R. tries once again to destroy Pam's
marriage to Bobby. He uses a callgirl to carry out his plan.
2.21 (26) Dallas: Royal marriage

Lucy and Kit Mainwarring III, homosexual son of another powerful texan family,
are planifying their marriage.
J.R. sees an opportunity to make deals with the father of Kit and is prepare to
eliminate anybody who may
oppose this marriage.

Cliff Barnes uses his office against the Ewings. J.R. and Senator Sam Culver
make plans for stopping him.
Ray falls in love with Donna. He doesn't know that she's Senator Culver's wife.

Major problems at Southfork again: Sue Ellen drinks heavily, Lucy takes drugs.
Sue Ellen falls down the stairs.
J.R. takes his pregnant wife to a clinic to have her rehabilitated.
2.24 (29) Dallas: John Ewing III, Part 2 (season 2
finale)

At the clinic, a nurse agrees to get Sue Ellen some alcohol. Sue Ellen tells
Bobby that Cliff could be the father
of her baby. She runs away from the clinic and has a car crash. She gives birth
to her son John Ewing III.
Her baby is in deadly danger.
