4.01 [085] The Lucy Show: LUCY AT MARINELAND

Synopsis:
Lucy moves from Danfield, New York to Los Angeles, California where she
enrolled her son Jerry in a Military Academy. Lucy takes Jerry to
Marineland for a personally autographed baseball from Jimmy Piersall. But
Jerry makes a mistake when he gives the ball to Lucy for "safekeeping," and
the aquatic stars at Marineland get a new playmate.
Note: Because Vivian Vance retired from the show, the series went through a
major format change. Mr. Mooney also moved to Los Angeles and was still Lucy's banker!

4.02 [086] The Lucy Show: LUCY AND THE GOLDEN GREEK

Synopsis:
A meek and unassuming blind date turns into a seething volcano of passion
when he is exposed to Greek music in a restaurant.
Note: Mary Jane Croft became a regular cast member in the role of Lucy's

Synopsis:
Lucy takes a job as secretary to the president of a record company,
and gets a close look at the mad world of modern music. She turns talent
scout in an effort to get her neighbor's song published. Singer Mel Torme,
who portrays her drum thumping, guitar strumming neighbor, wrote the
songs “Whatever Happened to the Moon?” “My Trousseau” and “Winding”.

an intimate birthday party for him, but their plans are foiled when his

Synopsis:
In a desperate search for cash, Lucy dresses up as a cowboy to take a job
as a stuntman in a movie. When Mr. Mooney shows up as a guest of the
director, Lucy engages in frantic stunts to avoid being discovered.

Synopsis:
As Mr. Mooney's highly efficient secretary, Lucy must deliver an important
envelope to a VP at a television network. While waiting for the executive's
arrival, Lucy fraternizes with the actors, including Danny Thomas.
(Note: In the opening scene of this episode, Mr. Mooney reluctantly hires
Lucy as his part-time secretary. She remains his secretary for the remainder of the series.)

4.08 [092] The Lucy Show: LUCY HELPS THE COUNTESS

Synopsis:
The Countess Framboise is trying her hand as a real-estate agent, and Lucy

Synopsis:
Lucy agrees to place a bet for Mr. Mooney at the racetrack, then loses his
winning ticket. In an effort to earn back his money, Lucy agrees to play
Iron Man Carmichael again.

4.12 [096] The Lucy Show: LUCY SAVES MILTON BERLE

Synopsis:
When Milton Berle (guest-starring as himself) researches his new movie role
as a hobo, he meets Lucy at a soup kitchen for which she cooks. To hide his
real identity, Milton tells Lucy that he is Milton Berle's twin brother.
Lucy is so infuriated that Milton Berle would let his brother starve that
she goes to the press to expose his cruelty.

4.13 [097] The Lucy Show: LUCY THE CHOIRMASTER

Mr. Mooney takes the place of the bass singer-a young boy who suddenly
turns soprano-in Jerry's boys' choir. A Merry Christmas is had by all.
(Note: Jimmy Garrett returns to the show in this episode for his final appearance as Lucy's son Jerry.)

Synopsis:
A huge computer falls on Mr. Mooney, and with a sudden surge of strength,
Lucy pushes the computer off. As a result, doctors plan extensive studies
on Lucy's over-charged adrenal gland.
