In 1954 a syndicated version of "Blondie" aired, also starring

[01] Blondie: DAGWOOD'S EGO FOR THE THIRD TIME

Blondie attempts to bolster Dagwood's ego, so that he will assert himself
with his boss, Mr. Dithers. [JB]

[02] Blondie: MR. DITHERS IS HOSPITALIZED

Dagwood takes over for his boss when J.C. Dithers is hospitalized. But his
attempts to supervise the groundbreaking for construction of a supermarket
are stymied by a mother bird and five unhatched eggs in a nest. [JB]

[03] Blondie: MR. DITHERS MOVES IN

Dagwood's boss Mr. Dithers and his wife move in on the Bumsteads while their
home is being redecorated. Mrs. Dithers would much prefer a trip to Florida
so cookie and Alexander begin a nuisance campaign to get Mr. Dithers to give
in to his wife's wishes. [JB]

[04] Blondie: THE OTHER WOMAN

One of the neighborhood youngsters sees Dagwood having lunch with another
woman, and Blondie is sure it's the pretty new librarian. [JB]

[05] Blondie: HOME SWEET HOME

Dagwood takes Blondie at her word when she jokingly tells him to sell the
house as long as he doesn't seem to be able to keep it in good repair. [JB]

[06] Blondie: GET THAT MAN

Mr. Dithers sends Dagwood out to purchase a valuable pistol for his gun
collection. Blondie mistakenly thinks Dagwood wants the gun himself and
tries to buy it for his birthday. [JB]

[07] Blondie: THE FEUD

Dagwood and Herb Woodley have a violent argument while discussing world
affairs. Then they discover that each is in possession of tools belonging
to the other. Blondie and Mrs. Woodley do their best to keep their irate
husbands from declaring war of their own. [JB]

[08] Blondie: THE QUIZ SHOW

Dagwood tries to live up to the high reputations claimed by Alexander's
friends for their fathers. He decides to go on a TV quiz show as a "human
adding machine." [JB]

[09] Blondie: HUSBANDS ONCE REMOVED

When Dagwood loses their marriage license, Blondie discovers she's unable
to obtain a duplicate because of a fire in the hall of records. Convinced
she and Dagwood are not legally married, Blondie makes Dagwood move himself
to the attic. [JB]

[10] Blondie: THE PAYOFF MONEY

Blondie and Mrs. Woodley leave some packages in a downtown locker while they
go on a shopping spree. When she gets home, Blondie discovers that someone
has switched packages, and instead of a pound of liver, she finds $50,000.
A short time later a pair of gangsters show up to try to recover their loot. [JB]

[11] Blondie: HARD LUCK IDOL

Dagwood and Blondie receive as a gift an oriental idol with a reputation
for creating bad luck for anyone who owns it. Of course, Dagwood and Blondie
are not superstitious, so the decide not to worry about bad luck.
Coincidentally an unusual number of accidents occurs to disrupt the Bumstead
household. [JB]

[12] Blondie: OIL FOR THE LAMPS OF BLONDIE

For the Bumsteads' anniversary, Dagwood's boss Mr. Dithers presents them
with an unusual lamp, which they decide to return to the store. When Mr.
Dithers and his wife are expected for dinner, Dagwood and Blondie make a
frantic attempt to buy back the lamp. [JB]

[13] Blondie: BLONDIE THE BREADWINNER

Since Mr. Dithers refuses him a raise, Dagwood decides to quit. Blondie
tries to talk Dithers into hiring Dagwood back, whereupon Dithers, impressed
with her sales ability, hires he instead! [JB]

Dagwood finds himself in a pretty fix when a Hollywood actress pays a visit

When Mr. Dithers discovers a closet full of lamps, clothes and other items,
he mistakenly believes his wife has become a kleptomaniac. [JB]

In an attempt to impress an important woman client, Mr. Dithers mails
pictures to her of members of his staff. By mistake, Dagwood's picture is
labeled as president of the firm. [JB]

Synopsis:
When Alexander becomes infatuated with a pretty classmate, Dagwood decides

Complications by the score plague the Bumsteads when Blondie decides she
will take a job in order to earn money for a new washer. She hires a maid
to take care of the house, but the maid's suspicious acts lead the Bumsteads
to believe she may be a jewel thief. [JB]

Dagwaood puts his foot down and tells Blondie their living room looks much
too feminine, and wants it refurnished. Obligingly, Blondie calls in an
interior decorator to make an estimate on the entire house. [JB]

Dagwood's boss spots a singer in a nightclub who bears a close resemblance
to Blondie. Dagwood gts the idea that Blondie is sneaking out at night behind his back. [JB]

Dagwood gets involved with an international spy ring which uses his hat as
a hiding place for secret microfilm. In an attempt to recover the film from
Dagwood, he is stalked by an alluring female espionage agent. [JB]

[22] Blondie: CUPID'S QUESTION COLUMN

Blondie and Dagwood argue over spending money for a new hat for Blondie.
When a friend offers to let Blondie take over, for a week, the local
newspaper's advice-to-the-lovelorn column, Blondie gladly accepts. She's
thought of a way to get even with Dagwood! [JB]

[23] Blondie: THE TRAMP

In appreciation of Blondie's kindness, a tramp helps Dagwood get even with
his boss. Mr. Dithers reneged on his promise to give Dagwood some stock in
the company. The tramp poses as a prosperous contractor who wants to Dagwood
to leave Dithers and set up his own company. [JB]

[24] Blondie: FOLLOW THAT MAN

Blondie wins $500 for her collection of recipes and uses the money to shop
for new dresses and jewelry. Mr. Dithers suspects that Dagwood has made off
with company funds to pay for Blondie's spending spree. [JB]

[25] Blondie: THE PARTY

Alexander's 16th birthday is a grand occasion for the Bumsteads and their
neighbors. But Dagwood and Blondie's offspring turns down their offer to
help entertain at his party. [JB]
