[--] The Betty White Show: (episode title not known) (verified -RL)
Synopsis:
Most of the action revolves around 2 sketches - one in a record store in which
all of the regulars try to figure out what song Betty White wants to buy (it
turns out to be CATCH A FALLING STAR by Perry Como). Another long sketch
features Betty as a clean-up woman in a TV studio WHILE a live show is being
aired. She is oblivious to that fact, and wreaks havoc on the whole thing. [RL]
Note:
The most interesting thing about this episode is that TOM KENNEDY is still
the announcer, NOT Johnny Jacobs as all records seem to say. Even Tom
himself says that when DATE WITH THE ANGELS became THE BETTY WHITE SHOW, he
surrendered the announcing duties to Johnny Jacobs and didn't do any under
the new format. Well, this episode is proof otherwise... [RL]
