Synopsis:
General Lincoln, leader of Patriot forces in South Carolina, has permitted his

Veteran French Mountain climber Gaston Rebufatt is seen teaching a pupil the

 rudiments of mountain climbing. Then Rebufatt and his pupil attempt to climb Eiger,

 a high peak in the Swiss Alps, but are forced back by avalanches. Rebufatt and the

novice then climb Mount Blanc, Europe's highest mountain, and then the French expert

leads an American motion-picture company on a climb of the picturesque Matterhorn. [RF]
