This UK production features less known actors in filmed plays
showing people caught in "the Vise" of fate created by their own deeds.

As of Friday 23Dec 1955 'The Vise' was replaced on ABC by the spin-off
'Mark Saber, Private Investigator, with Donald Gray in the title role,
another Danziger production filmed in the UK.

NOTE: Paul Gerrard was a pseudonym used by Paul Dickson when he directed
"The Vise. When he directed an episode of "Colonel March of Scotland Yard"
and three episodes of the Edgar Lustgarten "Scotland Yard" theatrical
series he was billed as Paul Gherzo.

Ron Randell later starred in the UK World War II Adventure series  "O.S.S." (1957-58)

Synopsis:
A shabby hotel in a run-down London suburb is the setting. A scream leads to the body of a murdered girl. Scotland Yard
have a choice of three suspects, the fiancé, a shady character caught burning papers shortly after the murder and a
cripple confined to a wheelchair. One of the witnesses is then murdered while telephoning the police.
