Premise:
Adventures of Captain Michael Gallant, commander of the North African headquarters of the French Foreign Legion

"These are the stories of the French Foreign Legion today. The Producers gratefully acknowledge the aid of the
French Minister of National Defence and the Commanding General French Troops in Morocco, and
The Officers and Men of the Legion Outposts at Zagora, Rabat, Marrakech, Taroudant and Agadir who portray
themselves in these films, and without whose Authorization and Co-operation these films could not have been made"


Background:
Season 1: North Africa
In the beginning, the show was filmed at an outpost on the edge of the
Saharan Desert, French Morocco, Marrakech, Paris and Athens.
Season 2: North Italy
Under the guidance of future James Bond producer Harry Saltzman, the
filming moved to Lybia, Tripoli and Italy, where the political climate was less hostile.
